Abstract

This study is intended to analyze the influence between resilience and work engagement, with work life balance as a mediating variable, and to determine the description of Resilience, Work Engagement and Work Life Balance at the Fa Mitra Clinic. The employee population was 36 employees with a census sampling technique obtained a sample of 36 respondents. Data collection through distributing questionnaires. The testing instruments used include validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques applied include scale range, path analysis, and hypothesis testing. Based on the scale range analysis, the level of Resilience is in the high category, as well as Work Life Balance and Work Engagement is also high. The findings show that the indirect effect is weaker than the direct effect, so it can be concluded that Work Life Balance does not have a role as a mediator in the relationship between Resilience and Work Engagement. In other words, Resilience significantly affects Work Engagement directly without involving aspects of Work Life Balance.
