Abstract
IPAS learning materials play a very important role in education. IPAS learning is a subject that focuses on practice and cannot be conveyed through theory alone. Interactive application-based learning media contains material, learning videos, and interactive quizzes in the form of games. This study aims to: (1) Develop application-based learning media for the material Sound, Light, and Its Properties in the IPAS subject. (2) Measure the effectiveness and feasibility of application-based learning media in the IPAS learning process for the material Sound, Light, and Its Properties. This development uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages, namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. The analysis stage is carried out to gather information and determine the actual conditions in the field. The design stage focuses on the preparation of learning media based on the analysis of student needs. The development stage includes validation by subject matter experts, media experts, learner responses, and teacher response surveys. The implementation stage involves testing the product with learners. The evaluation stage is the final step to review the results of the development of application-based learning media in the subject of Sound, Light, and Its Properties for 5th grade students. The results of the study show that the learning media developed is deemed suitable for use. The assessment from subject matter experts obtained a percentage of 91.67%, and the assessment from media experts reached 85.71%, stating that the media is suitable for use in the field without revision. The scores from students through questionnaires showed a percentage of 93,65%, indicating that this media was very helpful in understanding the learning material. These results show that application-based learning media in IPAS learning on the subject of Sound, Light and Its Properties for 5th grade students is very good and suitable for use in elementary schools.
