Abstract
This study aims to develop a learning medium called Papan Budaya
Nusantara (Nusantara Culture Board) to support an engaging and interactive
learning process for fourth-grade elementary students studying the cultural diversity
topic in the IPAS subject. Based on initial observations at SD Negeri Jarak 1, the
learning process was still one-way and lacked student participation, which affected
their understanding of the material. Therefore, the medium was designed in the form
of a magnetic board where students could directly interact with various cultural
elements such as traditional houses, clothing, and traditional dance.
The research used an R&D approach with the ADDIE model, involving
analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Validation
from content and media experts showed that the media was highly appropriate for
use. Trials with students indicated that the medium improved their understanding,
motivation, and active participation in class. It also helped teachers deliver abstract
concepts more effectively through a fun and meaningful learning experience.
