Abstract
Differentiated learning is a teaching and learning process in which educators apply a variety of instructional strategies to suit the cognitive itive needs of each student. Based on the findings of the results of the lectures conducted with educators at SD Negeri 1 Balesari, information was obtained that SD Negeri 1 Balesari is an educational institution that has implemented the Independent Curriculum. This study aims to describe the implementation in grade V students at SD Negeri 1 Balesari, Malang.
The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, this research was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Balesari in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year. Primary data sources were obtained from class and V educators, while secondary data were obtained from literature studies. In collecting data using observations, interviews, and documentation. This study uses source triangulation and triangulation techniques to check the validity of the data.
The results of research that has been carried out regarding the application of differentiated learning in grade V of elementary school in Negeri 1 Balesari Malang has been proven to have a positive impact on the learning process and outcomes of students. Teachers have implemented learning that adapts to the individual interests of students through variations in the selection of materials, media, methods, and forms of evaluation. The main obstacle to learning for students in classrooms with varying levels of learning ability lies in limited time, facilities, and external support both from schools and parents, Although teachers have tried to adjust learning strategies as optimally as possible, stronger systemic support is still needed so that the teaching and learning process can take place in a fair, effective, and sustainable manner for all students.
