KONSTRUKSI TANDA-TANDA MOTIVASIONAL DALAM LIRIK LAGU (Analisis Semiotika Dalam Lirik Lagu "33x" Karya Band Perunggu)

This study aims to understand the construction of motivational signs in the lyrics of the song "33x" by the band Perunggu using Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic approach. The song was selected because of it's profound meaning, which is closely related to issues of mental health and the motivation of Generation Z. This research employs an interpretive qualitative method with a linguistic semiotic approach that identifies the relationship between the signifier and the signified in each verse of the lyrics. Data were collected through lyric text analysis supported by literature and interviews from podcast media.

The findings indicate that the lyrics of "33x" construct motivational symbols associated with the process of self-recovery, criticism of productivity demands, and the importance of spiritual reflection. Phrases such as "Melamban bukanlah hal yang tabu / Kadang itu yang kau butuh" serve as signifiers of the meaning that rest is not a weakness but an essential part of the adaptation process in life. The song represents the psychological condition of urban workers and is relevant for young generations experiencing mental pressure. Moreover, this research emphasizes that song lyrics are not merely poetic entertainment, but also a medium of mass communication capable of symbolically conveying emotional and social messages.
