Abstract
This study aims to analyze how green leadership is implemented at Rayz Hotel UMM. Rayz Hotel UMM is one of the business units owned by Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in the hospitality sector. This green leadership study focuses on several indicators, namely visionary, inspirational, intellectually stimulating, individually considerate, and the impact also challenges faced in implementing green leadership. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study and analysed using NVivo 14 software. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Rayz Hotel UMM has made efforts to apply the values of green leadership, but its implementation is still not optimal. A leader's ability to develop a vision and strategy focused on sustainability is crucial in the implementation of green leadership. Additionally, leaders play a significant role in inspiring and motivating all employees to actively participate in sustainability programs. This study is expected to contribute to the development of sustainability practices in the hospitality industry, enabling the implementation of green leadership to be more optimal.
