Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Al-Qur'an Hadith learning systematically and to identify the problems faced in the learning process in madrasas. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Research informants include a teacher of Al-Qur'an Hadith studies with the initials A and class II A students with the initials B1, B2, C1, and C2. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis uses the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that, first, the implementation of Al-Qur'an Hadith learning is carried out sequentially through three main stages: initial activities in the form of greetings, joint prayers, attendance, and checking student readiness; core activities include conveying learning objectives, providing materials, varying methods, and the use of learning media; and final activities in the form of summarizing the material, reinforcement from the teacher, and closing prayers. Second, learning still faces various problems, including students' varying mental and emotional readiness, low awareness of learning objectives, difficulty in linking new material to prior knowledge, less varied learning methods, minimal elements of humor or positive emotional touch, uneven student participation, and in-depth evaluation. In addition, adaptation to the transition to the Independent Curriculum and limited infrastructure are also quite significant obstacles. These problems require a sustainable strategy from teachers and madrasahs so that Al-Qur'an Hadith learning can be more effective, contextual, inclusive, and in line with the spirit of the student-centered Independent Curriculum.
