Abstract

At present the need for clean water and wastewater distribution in multi-storey buildings needs
proper planning so that these needs can be distributed properly. There is a need to plan a fire
extinguishing system to minimize the occurrence of fire. This plumbing system planning is intended
to completely re-plan the plumbing system from the basement floor to the 10th floor but does not
consider the existing condition of the building. The results of the planning that has been done get
the results, namely, the discharge of clean water needs 15.5 m3 / hour or 4.31l / s. The capacity of
the underground water reservoir (Ground Water Tank) is 42 m3. The capacity of the upper water
reservoir (Roof Tank) is 12 m3. The capacity of the lower water reservoir for firefighting is 140 m3 .
In this laboratory building the dirty water and waste water disposal system is planned to use a
separate system. The fire fighting system in this lab building is planned to use 2 indoor hydrant
boxes / fire hose reels and 2 Portable Fire Extinguishers on each floor placed inside the building
and 2 outdoor hydrant boxes outside the building.
