PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA DAMAR KURUNG PADA TEMA MAKANAN SEHAT KELAS V SD NEGERI SUMBEREJO 01, KOTA BATU

This study aims to develop thematic learning media based on local culture in the form of Damar Kurung on theme 3 Healthy Food Subtheme 1 How the Body Processes Food, 6th grade learning at SD Negeri Sumberejo 01 Batu City. Based on the low interest in learning students with monotonous and less interesting methods for students. This study aims to determine the application of learning Indonesian (print media advertisements), Civics (socio-cultural diversity), and SBdP (Tone Ladder and folk songs) grade V.
This research uses media development research conducted is class action research. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Damar Kurung learning media is in the form of cubes like lanterns and two-dimensional images presented with Indonesian Language, Civics, and SBdP materials.
The results of validation conducted by media experts, material experts, and teacher and student responses show that the Damar Kurung media is considered very good and effective in improving engagement and student understanding of the material. The results of this study, Damar Kurung learning media are expected to produce innovative, interesting, and effective learning media and can develop other learning media for successful learning.
