Abstract

Education is a teaching and learning process to create humans who have comprehensive attitudes, knowledge and skills. The preparation and implementation of a good curriculum in schools also provides fairness which is important for the creation of learning objectives. This has an impact on the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in elementary schools. This study aims to determine the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in elementary schools.
This study uses a qualitative approach so that researchers can find out the phenomena that occur and feel real. Because with this, researchers can see and provide solutions to overcome the problem. Qualitative research is a social science study to collect and analyze data in the form of words (oral or written) and human actions. Data analysis is carried out throughinterviews conducted with the principal and teachers involved in school.
Based on the interview results, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SDN Sumberejo 03 Batu has included the planning, implementation, reflection and evaluation stages. Implementation is carried out by teachers with students as the main focus in learning, teachers only act as facilitators in learning. Supporting factors for implementation are that teachers have been given training by the central government and schools, while inhibiting factors are that many teachers still do not understand IT and lab computr and projector facilities during classroom learning. The school continues to provide training to teachers and provides a policy of bringing cellphones to support the learning proces.
