Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Kampus Mengajar Program was part of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM). This study aims to explain the experience of students in the implementation of the Kampus Mengajar program under the MBKM policy. This study uses a qualitative method with a narrative research design involving eight
students from 7 majors The study involved eight students from 7 majors (Biology Education, Non-Formal Education, Accounting, Biology & Marine Fisheries, Guidance and Counseling, Elementary School Teacher Education, and Regional Language Education) and 7 different Universities (Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Yogyakarta State University, University of Bengkulu, Pat Petulai University, Ganesha University, Pattimura University, and University of Muhammadiyah Malang). The main data sources are interviews and documentation, which provide information related to the research. The results of the study provide 6 themes about students’ experiences in the implementation of the Kampus Mengajar program under the MBKM policy. The themes are: 1. Program objectives and achievements; 2. Students’ reasons and preparation for participating in the Kampus Mengajar program; 3. Experience during the implementation of the program; 4. Roles and relationships during the program; 5. Reflection and evaluation of the Kampus Mengajar program, and; 6. Effective experience during the program.
