Abstract
The F&B industry in Indonesia continues to experience significant growth,
including in Malang City, which shows a rapid increase in the number of cafes
and restaurants. One of the most popular cafes is Berkat Terang Jaya, which
attracts attention due to its unique concept and loyal customers. However,
internal conflicts and changes in work culture have been found, which have
impacted the atmosphere and types of customers. The purpose of this study was to
examine the influence of job engagement and job satisfaction on readiness for
change among employees of Berkat Terang Jaya Cafe. The study used a
quantitative approach with 32 respondents. The sampling technique used a total
sample, meaning the entire population became the sample size. All respondents
were permanent employees of Berkat Terang Jaya Cafe. The results showed that
job engagement had no effect on readiness for change among employees of Berkat
Terang Jaya Cafe. However, job satisfaction had a significant and very dominant
influence on readiness for change among employees of Berkat Terang Jaya Café.
