ANALISIS TATA LETAK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFISIENSI PRODUKSI PERUSAHAAN PADA KENDEDES KERIPIK BUAH

This research was conducted at Kendedes Keripik Buah, a food industry that produces fruit-based chips, especially apples. The company's location is in Tulungrejo, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java 65336. The research conducted is applied research. The data analysis techniques used in formulating the problem in this study are descriptive analysis techniques and data analysis techniques From to Chart and Systematic Layout Planning. Based on the research results, it was found that the current layout of the Kendedes Keripik Buah production facility is inefficient because it has a total material movement distance of 69 meters and a total movement load of 31,050. This is due to the alternating flow (backtracking) between several departments that cause a fairly long distance for material movement. Therefore, a rearrangement of the layout is needed to improve the efficiency of the production process.
