Abstract

Technological developments and changes in people's lifestyles have driven significant growth in the laundry industry in Indonesia. Steam irons are still the preferred choice due to their advantages over conventional irons, but they still face challenges such as long heating times and the need for manual supervision. This study aims to design and implement an automatic control system for steam iron boilers based on fuzzy logic to maintain stable temperature and pressure automatically. The system is designed to be suitable for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with the hope of minimizing operational errors and improving efficiency and reliability in the ironing process. Fuzzy logic is used to handle changes in temperature and pressure parameters in a flexible and adaptive manner. With this automation, it is hoped that the ironing process in the laundry industry will become more practical, safe, and time-efficient without direct human intervention.
