Abstract
This study discusses the cooperation between the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in an effort to protect Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) case study in Taiwan during the period 2021-2024. This cooperation is important because of the high number of PMI placements in Taiwan which is directly proportional to the many problems experienced by PMI. The three main problems are unpaid or unpaid salaries, work that is not in accordance with the contract, to cases of PMI running away. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature studies and interviews. Then in answering the problem formulation, it is analyzed using the approach of the concept of international cooperation and the concept of migrant workers. The results of the study show that the cooperation between IOM and BP2MI is carried out in the form of developing pre-departure modules, PMI economic empowerment programs, and P3MI training.
