PERAN PENDIDIKAN POLITIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN POLITIK MASYARAKAT DALAM PERSPEKTIF BUDAYA LOKAL DI DESA NANGANESA KAB ENDE NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

The research aims to investigate the role of political education in enhancing the political awareness of the community from the perspective of local culture in Nanganesa Village, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, by taking into account the local cultural context. In a society rich in traditions and local values, political education is expected to be adapted to local wisdom to achieve higher effectiveness. This study employs a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation techniques. The findings indicate that political education rooted in local culture can increase public understanding of their political rights and obligations and encourage active participation in the democratic process. Moreover, community values such as cooperation and discussion serve as an essential foundation for teaching political concepts. The study concludes that integrating political education with local culture not only enhances political understanding but also strengthens identity and solidarity within the community of Nanganesa Village.
