IMPLEMENTASI PERJANJIAN INDONESIA - AUSTRALIA COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT (IA-CEPA) DALAM PENGEMBANGAN INDUSTRI MODE LOKAL INDONESIA

Indonesia - Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) is an economic agreement between Indonesia and Australia. The IA-CEPA agreement opens up opportunities for the Indonesian economy to enter the Australian market, especially in Indonesia's local fashion industry sector. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of the IA-CEPA agreement in the development of Indonesia's local fashion industry. The type of research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach that explains the implementation of policies from the IA-CEPA agreement in the development of Indonesia's local fashion industry, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced in the implementation of the agreement. The results of the study show that the implementation of the IA-CEPA agreement provides good opportunities for the Indonesian local fashion industry, which with the policy of reducing tariffs, increasing the competitiveness of the Indonesian local fashion industry in the Australian market and providing a forum for the local Indonesian fashion industry to enter the wider Australian market. However, there are also several challenges faced for Indonesia's local fashion industry such as competition with global fashion products, the need to improve quality and standards in products, as well as the need to adapt to the interests of Australian consumers. The implementation of the IA-CEPA agreement in the development of Indonesia's local fashion industry has a good impact and facilitates local fashion industry players in modernization and gaining new knowledge. In addition, it also makes it easier for the local fashion industry to enter the Australian market.
