Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of work stress as a mediator in the effect of organizational climate on employee performance. This study was conducted at PT Taman Rekreasi Sengkaling UMM with a sample of 107 employees. This type of research uses quantitative methods. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of organizational climate on employee performance, there is a negative and significant influence of organizational climate on work stress, there is a negative and significant influence of work stress on performance, and the direct influence of organizational climate on performance through work stress has a positive and significant influence.
