EVALUASI PERFORMA PEDET YANG DIBERI PAKAN CALF MILK REPLACER DI DESA CERMEE BONDOWOSO

The purpose of this study was determining the performance of calves fed Calf Milk Replacer (CMR). The study's materials included eight Simental and four Limosin calves aged 0–4 weeks, each weighing an average of 49.83 kg, and housed in open house. The samples used in this investigation by evaluating the calves' ages and health. For ten days, Profeed UMM's Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) was the feed that was provided. Surveys and observations were the research methods employed. The factors measured included daily consumption, chest circumference growth, and body weight gain. The data will be analysed using descriptive quantitative methods. The findings revealed that the average daily CMR consumption was
1.16 litres, with a 6.75 cm rise in chest circumference, and an average body weight gain of 13 kg. The percentage of calves with acceptable CMR was 75%. The study concluded that

CMR can be used as a substitute to brood milk to provide nutritional requirements throughout the maintenance stage.
