Abstract

"The Kalipang Bridge is a bridge with a length of 60 meters built as part of the South Cross Line Lot 9 project, connecting Kedungsalam and Balekambang in Malang Regency, specifically at Sta 4+196.001. The purpose of constructing this bridge is to enhance the capacity of the road network in serving traffic, thereby
improving traffic productivity. The foundation is the substructure of the bridge, designed to distribute the loads from the superstructure of the bridge to the ground. In this study, the foundation planning will utilize bored pile foundation. Bored Pile foundation is a type of deep foundation consisting of reinforced steel and spiral shaped reinforcement with specific dimensions. The bridge abutment is a component of the bridge's substructure located at the ends. The superstructure involves the calculation of seismic forces, wind forces, horizontal forces due to braking, and impact forces. The total loads received by the abutment foundation from the
calculations are ƩV = 1198,269 tons and ƩH = 317,587 tons. The planned abutment dimensions are 7.00 m with a pile cap measuring 4.90 m x 10.00 m. The calculation results indicate a bearing capacity of the foundation under the abutment, which is
371,776 tons/ pile.
