Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparative level of student learning motivation in istima' learning using audio-based media and video-based media. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection in the form of observation and questionnaires. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test and percentage analysis. The subject of this study is Arabic language education students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang class of 2023 with a total of 23 students. The results of this study are (1) the level of student learning motivation in learning listening using audio-based media is 66% in the medium category. (2) The level of student learning motivation in learning listening using video-based media is 97.16% in the very high category. (3) Comparison of student learning motivation in listening learning using audio-based and video-based media was 31.16%
