PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PANDIKA (PAPAN DISPLAY KATA) PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS 1 DI SEKOLAH DASAR

In the learning activities conducted at SDN Polowijen 1 Malang, the Merdeka curriculum is used. However, there are still some students who struggle with reading, and there is no specific media available for reading in Indonesian language lessons. The media currently used consists of a whiteboard and the surrounding environment. This study aims to deveop a product in the form of the PANDIKA (Papan Display Kata) as a tool for word reading in Indonesian language lessons.
This research uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were obtained from 11 grade 1 students at SDN Polowijen 1 Malang during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation.
This development resulted in the PANDIKA media (Papan Display Kata) product. The validation results from the material expert showed a percentage of 77,5%, while the validation from the material expert showed a percentage 85%. The teacher response data had a percentage of 95% and the student response data reached 95,5%. Based on these resluts, it can be concluded that the development of the PANDIKA media (Papan Display Kata) for Indonesian language lessons in grade 1 of elementary school is suitable for use in the learning process
