Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BYOND mobile banking application as a strategy to optimize the collection of Third-Party Funds (TPF) at Bank Syariah Indonesia, Malang Soekarno-Hatta Branch Office. BYOND is a digital banking platform developed to enhance Islamic financial inclusion and respond to the evolving challenges of the digital era. The findings indicate that the digital account opening process through BYOND BSI aligns with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI), specifically unit K.641266.006.01 concerning "Opening Bank Accounts." Challenges encountered include facial verification failures, limited digital literacy among users, and insufficient local promotion. These issues are addressed through customer service assistance, application feature improvements, and targeted promotional efforts within campus communities. The strategy has proven effective, reflected by an increase in users from 4,870 to 5,500 within eight months. The implementation of BYOND BSI successfully supports the optimization of TPF collection through digital channels while enhancing customer engagement in modern Islamic banking services.
