Abstract
Personal Job Fit refers to the match between an individual and the job they do. This includes the match between a person's skills, interests, values, and character with the demands of the job they are doing. At the Mercure Surabaya Grand Mirama Hotel, the Sales and Marketing Department is a part that plays an important role in sales and maintaining the hotel's identity. However, in practice there are still shortcomings in optimizing the performance of the department. This study aims to analyze the evaluation of Personal Job Fit in optimizing the performance of the Sales and Marketing Department of the Mercure Surabaya Grand Mirama Hotel using the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis evaluation model. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that Personal Job Fit has been implemented, but has not run optimally. The Miles & Huberman interactive evaluation revealed that there were several additional workloads and work pressures. These findings are expected to be used as evaluation material in efforts to optimize the performance of the Sales and Marketing Department with the suitability of Personal Job Fit.
