PENINGKATAN KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN SISWA SDN NGASEM 02 KABUPATEN MALANG DENGAN PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DI SEKOLAH

This research aims to determine the increase in the environmentally caring character of students at SDN Ngasem 02 Malang Regency by managing waste at school. This research approach is qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative research type. Data analysis in qualitative research requires conceptuality, namely the process of developing concepts that is carried out before entering the field. This is then continued with categorization and description, which is done while in the field. Data analysis in this research uses the Miles and Hubermen model method. Based on the results of the research and discussions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that increasing the environmentally caring character of students at SDN Ngasem 02, Malang Regency by managing waste at school is demonstrated by the results of distributing questionnaires that have been carried out showing that after delivering material related to instilling environmentally caring character through management. waste students have a better attitude in waste management. The results of observations made showed that students had better behavior and attitudes after being given an understanding of the importance of waste management. The results of interviews conducted by researchers where teachers implemented environmental care character education which was linked to waste management.
