Abstract
One form of effort to improve students' understanding of the role of the media is needed. This is done based on the analysis of the needs at SDN Kedungotok, namely the lack of use of media in learning. Teachers rely on package books and whiteboards as the main tools to deliver material. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, for the material to build a mathematics learning room, a learning media is needed that can be used as a tool for delivering material. The purpose of this research is to produce development products in the form of wordwall media for building materials for mathematics class V elementary school subjects.
This research uses the ADDIE research and development model, which consists of five stages, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of the study was 29 students in class V of SDN Kedungotok. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument uses observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and questionnaire guidelines. The data analysis technique uses two techniques, namely qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.
The results of the material validation received a percentage value of 94% and the media validation received a percentage value of 87%. From the two validation results, the media is said to be valid and can be implemented to class V students, while the student response questionnaire received a percentage of 95% and the results of the teacher response questionnaire were 94%. The average result of the students' evaluation questions was 90. It can be said that the use of learning media can make it easier for students to understand the material. This research can be used as a reference for future research, especially on space building materials or can be expanded for other materials.
