Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the morning moral motivation (MAP) program, including methods, steps, and facilities in supporting the formation of insan kamil at SMA Surya Buana Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the morning moral motivation program implemented by SMA Surya Buana Malang is motivated by the students' poor morals and the assumption that important knowledge is only religious knowledge. The goal of this program is to form a perfect personality through noble morals and a good understanding of knowledge. The MAP activities consist of core activities in the form of motivation provision and supporting activities, namely sharing one verse, studying the ta’lim book, and hadith as a reinforcement of students' knowledge. The core activities are carried out every tuesday from 07:30 to 08:00. Meanwhile, the supporting activities are conducted on monday, wednesday, and thursday from 07:00 to 07:30. The methods used are storytelling, advice, exemplary behavior, and lectures. The implementation of MAP utilizes adequate facilities such as prayer rooms, libraries, gazebos, classrooms, microphones, LCD projectors, and smart books as media for student reflection. Assessment on core activities is carried out through reflection results and student morals, while on supporting activities it is taken from monthly written test scores and reflection at each meeting. The MAP regulations applied are more focused on students who are late by imposing sanctions in the form of reciting while standing, sweeping, mopping, or cleaning the ablution area.
