Abstract
Adaptation strategy is an action or effort carried out in a planned manner carried out by a group or individual by solving an existing challenge or problem. If no adaptation strategy is carried out to face the economic crisis, single parents will experience an economic crisis. This study aims to determine how single parents deal with the economic crisis with the strategies they use, and to determine the factors that influence it. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This study also uses observation,. Because some of the single parents had already implemented and some sometimes implemented the strategy, the strategies included strategies for finding additional money, time management strategies, and strategies for saving expenses. The factors that caused the economic crisis were excess debt, low income, high expenditure, and an unstable economy, so that some of them were almost hit by an economic crisis.
