Abstract
Earthquake-resistant structures are the most important element in planning high-rise buildings in Indonesia, especially in geographical areas that have a risk of earthquakes with quite high intensity. One of the method used to increase a building's resistance to earthquake forces is to use a Special Moment Resisting Frame system based on SNI 1726:2019. Where structural components are capable of carrying forces due to earthquake loads and are planned to support bending for areas of seismic design category D. The research object used is the re-design of the reinforced concrete structure of the Hotel Plaza Lamongan Grid 5-9 Building. The building consists of 7 floors, the length of the building is 58.50 m, with a width of 16.00 m, and a height of 23.90 m. then with planning data for the longitudinal main beam (B1) dimensions 30/60 cm with main reinforcement 7D22 with 2D16 as torsion reinforcement at the supports and 4D22 with 2D16 torsion reinforcement at the field, 2D13-100 for the support stirrups and 2D13-150 for the field stirrups. Transverse main beam (B2) dimensions 30/50 cm with main reinforcement 6D22 with 2D16 torsion reinforcement at the supports and 4D22 with 2D16 torsion reinforcement at the field, 2D13-100 for the support stirrups and 2D13-150 for the field stirrups. and columns with dimensions of 80/80 cm with main reinforcement 24D25. Next, an analysis of the building was carried out using the Spectrum Response Analysis method, resulting in the stability of the building structure with a maximum deviation between floors in the main direction of 0.0021, a maximum deviation between floors in the non-main direction of 0.0018. Where with the deviation value between floors, the control drift ratio is obtained below 0.0025.
