Abstract

This study examines the implementation of social support in the social assistance program for children requiring special protection (CRSP),particulary in cases involving beneficiaries who are pregnant outside pf marriage. The purpose of this studi id to understand the extent to which social support contributes to psychosocial recovery. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through interviews, observation, and dokumentation. The findings indicate that although the assistance program has made efforts to mapply various forms of social support including emotional, intrumental, informational, and appraisal support there are significant obstacles in its implementation, mainly due to rejection from the beneficiaries' nuclear families. This situation leads to a mismatch between the psychosocial needs and fulfill its role as a family substitute. This studi recommends strengthening institutional capacity and adopting a collaborative approach with families and comunities to create more sustainable social support for children requiring special protection (CRSP).
