PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PROGRAM DESA UNITY SEBAGAI CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) PT UNITED TRACTORS TBK DI DESA SUMBERGONDO, KEC. BUMIAJI, KOTA BATU

This research aims to describe the implementation and impact of the “Desa UniTy” program as CSR PT United Tractors Tbk in empowering the community of Sumbergondo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that PT United Tractors Tbk has a “Desa UniTy” program in Sumbergondo Village since 2022, where this CSR program is carried out based on UT's ambition to continue to develop with the community through sustainability. This program prioritizes community-based potential that focuses on improving the community's economy through the five pillars of CSR: environment, economy, education, health, and disaster mitigation, with coaching, training, mentoring, and providing facilities. This program succeeded in having a positive impact by increasing the capacity of the community in terms of social, environmental, and economic aspects. However, its implementation has shortcomings, such as the lack of program coverage that reaches more beneficiaries from various groups. So, there is a need for program development and innovation that can reach a wider range of beneficiaries and improve community welfare.
