Abstract
Breastfeeding babies aged 0-6 months is an important activity for breastfeeding mothers. Often there are obstacles such as breast milk engorgement. Breast Milk Dam is a condition where the flow of veins and lymphatics is blocked, this can occur due to obstruction or pressure on the flow of breast milk and increased alveoli. Breast milk dam occurs due to blockage in the breast milk ducts, complaints that are often felt are breasts that feel swollen, hard and feel hot. Therefore, this study is the effectiveness of oxytocin massage and lactation management to facilitate breast milk and psychological changes. Design: this research method is a case study with inclusion criteria for postpartum mothers with complaints of breast milk not flowing smoothly. The psychological scale is measured by the questionnaire (Depression Anxiety Stress Scales) DSS. The intervention was carried out for 3 days with each intervention carried out pre and post. Results: oxytocin massage and lactation management interventions resulted in increased breast milk production and decreased psychological in postpartum mothers. Conclusion: Oxytocin massage and lactation management can help increase breast milk production and psychological decline in postpartum mothers, pain decreases, let down reflex also decreases, breast mass decreases
