Abstract

This study develops science and natural science teaching materials based on school environment for grade 4 elementary school students. This teaching material is an interesting topic and is relevant to current educational needs. Previous studies have shown various approaches and methods used and involve various experts and figures in the development process. This study aims to develop science and natural science teaching materials based on school environment for grade 4 elementary school students.
This study is a development study by adopting the ADDIE development model with the steps of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation, involving teachers and students in the validation process. As a data source, grade 4 students of Ngreco State Elementary School, Kandat District, 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 26 students were selected. Data collection techniques The data used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. Before the product trial was conducted, validation was carried out by media and material experts.
The results of the study showed that the results of material validation in stage 1 at SD Negeri Ngreco were obtained at 71% based on the data validity criteria that were feasible with revision, in stage 2 SD Negeri Ngreco were obtained at 82% based on the data validity criteria that were very feasible without revision. While media validation in stage 1 SD Negeri Ngreco was obtained at 84% based on the data validity criteria that were very feasible without revision, in stage 2 SD Negeri Ngreco was obtained at 91% based on the data validity criteria that were very feasible without revision. And the results of the questionnaire responses of students at SD Negeri Ngreco were obtained at 91% of the total 26 students. From the student responses with this percentage, it was categorized as very good. And the results of the teacher response questionnaire were obtained at 95%, with this percentage categorized as very good. From the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the school environment-based textbook shows that the Science Teaching Materials have good qualifications
