Abstract
Reduplication is one form of morphological process that is often found in children's literature. This study aims to examine the form and meaning of reduplication contained in the book We're the Great Children #1: A Collection of Short Stories - The Adventure Begins Planet Pandora. The types of reduplication in this study are grouped into four categories, namely complete reduplication, partial reduplication, reduplication and affixation process, and reduplication with phoneme change, referring to Ramlan's theory. The meaning of reduplication analyzed includes the meaning of explaining the meaning of a lot, the meaning of explaining the meaning of the action of the basic form repeating, the meaning of explaining the meaning of the action done casually or happily, the meaning of explaining the definition of resembling, the meaning of explaining the meaning of a lot for what is explained, the meaning of explaining the meaning of the highest level, and the meaning of explaining the meaning of intensity.
The method used is descriptive qualitative with document analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The analysis shows that full reduplication with the meaning of "many" is the most dominant form and meaning. Children tend to choose nonstandard forms of reduplication but are familiar in daily use, such as children, questions, and playing around. In addition, the use of possessive affixes such as -ku, -mu, and -nya are also quite prominent as subject or owner markers, reflecting the development of their language skills.
