Abstract

This study aims to design a motorcycle accessories sales information system at Rezspeed Workshop using a UI/UX approach based on the Design Thinking method. The background of this research is driven by the need to improve operational efficiency and user experience in the sales transaction process, which is currently still carried out conventionally. The Design Thinking method is applied through five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. This approach enables the researchers to understand user needs, define existing problems, generate creative ideas, and test the developed prototype.

The results of this study indicate that the designed information system prototype is able to effectively meet user needs. Testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded an average score of 83.5, indicating a high level of user satisfaction with the system’s ease of use and functionality. In addition, the validation and verification processes of the prototype show that most features align with user requirements, although some improvements are still needed, such as the addition of a notification feature and refinement of the interface.

Thus, this research successfully provides an innovative solution in the form of a sales information system that not only enhances the operational efficiency of Rezspeed Workshop but also delivers a better user experience. It is hoped that this study can serve as a reference for the development of similar information systems in the future and contribute positively to the automotive industry in Indonesia.
