This study aims to analyze the learning styles of students in Islamic religious education subjects and learning strategies at SMA Negeri 9 Malang City. The learning styles in question include aspects, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetic which can provide an understanding to students accompanied by appropriate learning strategies in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type through a case study approach (field research), students of SMA Negeri 9 Malang City as research subjects while Learning Styles and Learning Strategies as research objects. Data were collected through interviews and observations and then analyzed using field research. The results of this study indicate that educators' efforts to meet the needs of students who have a visual learning style are by using media in the form of a whiteboard, power points displayed on the LCD and also videos containing learning materials. Students who have an auditory learning style will be given assignments, namely by forming discussion groups so that students can present the results of their discussions in front of the class. An educator will provide activities related to practice to students who have a kinesthetic learning style so that students can grasp the material taught well.
