Abstract
This study aims to analyze language use and the traditional forms found in the Pecah Cikal tradition, and to relate them to Indonesian language learning. This research employs a qualitative method through interviews and observations with religious leaders and village officials in Ngabab Village, Pujon District.
The analysis results show that the tradition is still closely observed as a way of preserving the local culture. Furthermore, the analysis indicates that the language used in the tradition can be identified and concluded from the interview results, which still incorporate the local dialect
Therefore, the Pecah Cikal tradition can serve as a medium for learning the Indonesian language, particularly in the realm of language use. This enables students to identify and convert language used in interviews into proper and correct Indonesian.
