Abstract
This study aims to explore the application of organizational communication functions in daily interactions at Malang Corruption Watch using a qualitative, descriptive narrative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain comprehensive information from verbal, non-verbal, and written aspects. This study uses Abdullah Masmuh's (2010) theory of communication functions in organizations, as its theoretical foundation, in his book *Organizational Communication in Theoretical and Practical Perspectives*.
The results indicate that communication within MCW is open, participatory, and structured. Work program development and decision-making are conducted collectively, supporting organizational solidarity and effectiveness. MCW is also able to adapt to technological and policy developments to maintain organizational competitiveness. Intense interaction and informal communication strengthen relationships among members, while various communication media, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and websites, are used for internal and external coordination. MCW implements democratic communication and adheres to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), particularly regarding the prevention of sexual violence, to ensure the safety and comfort of its members. A selective, scientifically based decision-making approach strengthens the organization's overall communication management.
