Abstract
This study aims to compare the body weight of meat ducks fed with mussels, stale rice, and bran as control feed. Increasing meat duck production is an important strategy in supporting national food security. The method used is a qualitative descriptive case study with data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The study was conducted qualitatively descriptively by dividing 150 meat ducks into three treatment groups: mussel feed, mussel feed with bran, stale rice feed with bran. The body weight data of meat ducks was taken at the beginning (DOD) and the end of maintenance for (40). The tools and materials used in this study were, tools: feeder, drinker, storage tank, digital scale, materials: 150 Day Old Duck (DOD) super meat ducks, bran, mussels (small mussels), stale rice (leftover wet rice), drinking water, additional feed (pur). The results showed that ducks fed stale rice had an average body weight higher than ducks fed mussels, and the lowest were meat ducks fed bran. Stale rice feed was more optimal in increasing the growth of meat ducks.
