Students of grade 3 of SDN Dadaprejo 01 Batu have various habits that occur in the classroom. In the learning process, one of the efforts made to optimize the creativity, problem solving, communication, and collaboration abilities of students is to apply a problem-based learning model, in addition, teachers also use learning tools such as teaching modules, learning media and others in the implementation of which there is a habit of 4C skills. The purpose of the 4C (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity) research is to improve students' abilities in facing the challenges of the 21st century and prepare them for an increasingly competitive world of work. This study also aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various learning strategies and approaches used to develop 4C competencies in learning in class 3 Dadaprejo 01 Batu.
The method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach and the data collection technique used is observation, which will then monitor the behavior of the research subjects, such as the environment or behavior in space, time and environment. Learning in the 21st century is also called learning 4C skills, namely Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity. This research is located at SDN Dadaprejo 01 Batu which was conducted for 1 month from February to March in the even semester of the 2025 academic year. The data sources for this research are the principal, class teachers, students as respondents in the research.
The results of this study that regarding the habituation of 4C skills show a positive relationship between 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication) with learning outcomes and numeracy literacy skills. Several studies also show that the application of 4C in learning can improve students' ability to solve problems, communicate, and collaborate. The habituation of 4C in education can improve students' ability to think critically, creatively, communicate, and collaborate, which are important to face challenges in the digital era and the world of work and to show that 4C skills have an important role in education, especially in improving learning outcomes, numeracy literacy skills, and 21st century skills that students need to succeed in the future.
