Abstract
This study aims to analyze the results of the study of the readiness of the village government towards the digitalization of public services in Sumberdodol Village, Magetan Regency. By using a qualitative approach, data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is a willingness to implement digitalization, the readiness of the Sumberdodol Village Government which still faces various challenges, such as human resource capabilities, limited technological infrastructure, lack of socialization regarding technology, regulations and policies that are still being considered by the village. However, the village government shows ambition and seriousness to overcome these challenges. The village government must start conducting socialization and training for village officials and planning infrastructure development in stages.
This research is expected to provide benefits and an overview of the readiness of the village government towards digitalization and the steps that need to be taken by the Sumberdodol Village government in facing the era of digitalization of public services, and can provide recommendations to improve the quality of services to the community in a sustainable manner. The aspect of readiness for digitalization of public services focuses on two main aspects, namely infrastructure and human resources. Public services towards digitalization of the Village Government are a step to increase transparency, efficiency, and accessibility of government services to the community.
The conclusion of this study is that the Sumberdodol Village government still faces many challenges in various digitalization of public services. The most prominent challenges are mainly in technological infrastructure and human resources. However, the village government is very committed to becoming a digital village government. Lack of training, limited technological facilities, and minimal socialization are the main obstacles. To overcome this problem, real action is needed to improve village officials through training and infrastructure planning in stages. It is hoped that the digitalization of public services will continue to increase transparency, efficiency, and accessibility of services for the community.
