Abstract

Education has an important role in achieving a person's academic abilities, and education can influence a person's skills and thinking. An important factor in education is to measure the progress of human resources and become a benchmark for the nation's progress, therefore the government has a policy in implementing learning to achieve a good education. Observations and interviews conducted with grade 2 teachers at SDN 1 Sumbersuko on October 16 2024 resulted in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Students when learning Indonesian find it difficult to use punctuation material, when learning, the class teacher has not used interesting learning media. The aim of this research is to develop Blind Box learning media on the use of punctuation for class 2.
This research uses methods used in research and development using Research and Development (R&D) research. The models used in this research are ADDIE, (Analysis), (Design), (Development), (Implementation), and (Evaluation). This research will be carried out at SDN 1 Sumbersuko using Indonesian language material for class 2 of the Merdeka curriculum. This research uses data analysis techniques in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Analysis of qualitative data from the results of observations, interviews, suggestions from validators, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Quantitative data analysis was carried out on validation experts from material experts, media experts, teacher user responses and class 2 students. The data obtained was used to test the feasibility of blind box media in class 2 Indonesian subjects.
The research results show that Blind Box Media, seen from the material expert validation questionnaire, received a score of 86.6% and media expert validation received a score of 82.6%. Based on the results from the validator, the material and media can be categorized as suitable for use. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire obtained results of 93% and the teacher response questionnaire was 94.4%. Based on the results of the questionnaire, students and teachers received a very good response category. The results of the questionnaire can be concluded that the development of Blind Box learning media for class 2 students can be declared interesting which can help achieve learning indicators and students are more motivated by the presence of learning media.
