Abstract
Introduction : Auditory hallucinations can occur in the general population, but are often associated with schizophrenia. Hallucinations are generally influenced by predisposing factors (developmental, socio-cultural, biochemical, psychological and genetic) and precipitating factors (behavioral). This case study aims to analyze the management of Mr. A's hallucinations. A with a nursing diagnosis of auditory hallucinations.
Methods : This study used a case study approach which included: assessment, data analysis, nursing intervention, implementation and evaluation. The process of assessment and data collection is carried out using various techniques, including: interviews with patients and families in the Gili Trawangan Room, Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital, Malang City.
Results : Based on data analysis, the main nursing problem is sensory perception disorder: hearing, where the patient has problems with speech, affect and emotion, hallucinatory sensory perception. After the patient is given hallucination management nursing interventions in the form SP 1 - SP 4 hallucinations and dhikir therapy where there are changes in auditory sensory perception.
Conclusion : After intervening for 5 days of nursing problems with auditory sensory perception disorders, the results of the actions provided show that hallucination management in the from SP 1 - 4 and dhikir therapy can support recovery in patients with sensory perception disorders: hearing. However, it is still necessary to provide family support so that the family is involved in the process of controlling hallucinations.
