Abstract
Population growth and economic progress in a city affect the increase in the amount of waste. An increase in the amount of waste will cause problems in the environment. If not balanced with the availability of environmental service facilities and infrastructure, this can result in a decrease in environmental quality. Paras landfill is a landfill that uses a controlled landfill type rugging method. There needs to be an increase in waste management to the type of sanitary landfill. Landfill sanitary landfill planning includes: phase planning with a service period of 10 years obtained a land area of 38,514 m2 consisting of 3 phases, basic layer planning using geomembranes, horizontal and vertical gas pipe laying planning, drainage channel planning, leachate water pipe planning, and leachate storage pool planning consisting of 4 ponds, namely: anaerobic pool, facultative ponds, aeration ponds, and biofilter pools.
