Gambaran Dukungan Keluarga Terhadap Pasien Ca. Mammae Pasca Pengobatan Kemoterapi

Background: Family support is one of the most important roles in Ca patients. Mother after chemotherapy treatment. Family support is defined as an interpersonal relationship that can provide a sense of security, comfort, love and empathy, instrumental support, information and assessment. With good family support, anxiety in Ca mammae patients can be lower because the role of the family is very important in resisting the negative effects of stress and anxiety, besides that the coping abilities of Ca mammae patients in dealing with anxiety can be minimized. Objective: To find out the picture family support for Ca patients. Mammary undergoing chemotherapy Method: in this research is qualitative research with a case study method to examine the scientific situation regarding the problems experienced by the subject, in this research it is validated by triangulating direct interviews with three participants. Results: From the results of this research, data analysis Research obtained by researchers from the results of interviews and validated by participants obtained 4 themes, namely 1) Emotional Support, 2) Appreciative Support, 3) Instrumental Support, 4) Informative Support. Discussion: The family plays an important role in chemotherapy treatment for someone suffering from Ca. Mammae one way is to provide support. The support provided can be in the form of emotional, appreciation, instrumental and informative support. Apart from that, psychological support is also very important for successful management. A person suffering from ca. Mamae needs support and attention from the family to fulfill self-care needs and improve quality of life. With good family support, clients will feel more cared for, cherished and loved and can increase their confidence that the patient will recover.
