HUBUNGAN ANTARA BOBOT BADAN, LINGKAR DADA, DAN DIAMETER AMBING DENGAN PRODUKSI SUSU KAMBING SAPERA DI PESONA SATWA FARM BANDUNG

Body weight, chest circumference, and udder diameter are some important parameters that are thought to have a close relationship with milk production in Sapera goats. Body weight reflects the overall growth and development of the goat. Chest circumference is often used as an indicator of body size and body volume capacity. The diameter of the udder is an indicator of the size and capacity of the udder volume, where milk is produced and stored. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the significant relationship between body weight, chest circumference, and udder diameter to the milk production of Sapera goats. This type of quantitative research is conducted by direct observation or observation for data collection on body weight, chest circumference, udder diameter, and milk production. The research method used is a simple correlation analysis to analyze the relationship between two variables, namely the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. A multiple correlation test was carried out in this study to find out how much the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables is simultaneously (simultaneous). The F test is used to determine the significance of independent variables simultaneously to the dependent variables. The results of the correlation analysis showed that body weight and chest circumference had no relationship with the milk production of Sapera goats. The results of the correlation analysis of udder diameter with milk production of 0.006 (<0.05) can be concluded that udder diameter has a relationship with milk production of Sapera goats. The results of the multiple correlation analysis of these variables have a significant relationship simultaneously with a correlation value of 0.025 (<0.05), the variable has a very strong relationship, and the significance value of the F test is 0.025 (<0.05).
