Abstract
This study aims to determine the quality of services from the Psychosocial Support Services by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia for survivors of natural disasters such as earthquakes in Bandung Regency and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of this service. Psychosocial support services (LDP) are one form of public service provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia for survivors including natural disaster survivors to be able to recover after experiencing trauma so as to prevent Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Law (UU) No. 24 of 2007 which regulates the principles of disaster prevention is the legal basis for the implementation of this service by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach type. The data sources of this study come from primary data and secondary data. Meanwhile, data collection is carried out based on observation, interview and documentation methods. Finally, the data analysis technique uses data analysis techniques according to Miles and Hubermen which consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results of the study indicate that the Psychosocial Support Service has been running well and optimally even though there are still obstacles such as human resource factors and dynamics in the field, one of the causes of which is due to less than optimal training. This service is also supported by various factors such as good will from the leadership in presenting this service in every disaster, facilities and infrastructure that continue to be supported and a qualified budget
