ANALISIS KESULITAN MEMBACA TEKS BAHASA ARAB SISWA SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 MALANG

Arabic language learning well known as ISMUBARIS (Al-Islam, kemuhammadiyahan, bahasa Arab, bahasa Inggris) is a typical subject of Muhammadiyah schools, where these lessons emphasize Islamic principles of develop Arabic language skills especially for students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors causing difficulty in reading Arabic texts in class X students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. This research uses a field study research method (Field Research). Arabic language learning, especially Arabic text reading skills in class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang, most students have difficulty reading Arabic texts. The difficulties experienced by students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang in reading Arabic texts came from internal and external factors. Internal factors comprise cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, whereas external factors involve the environment, school, and students' educational background Factors have a major influence on students in learning to read Arabic texts. The difficulties experienced by students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang in reading Arabic texts are divided into 4: difficulty in reading hijaiyah letters, difficulty in reading Arabic vocabulary, difficulties in reading Arabic texts and the last lack of interest in reading Arabic texts. According to the facts that occur, many students are not serious when studying Arabic language learning. Students tend to be busy with their learning, do not pay attention and are less enthusiastic in memorizing Arabic vocabulary.
