Abstract
This research aims to develop MathHero Interactive Learning Media on the volume of cube, cuboid, and cylinder geometry for fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Mulyoagung, with the objective of enhancing students' understanding and learning interest in the classroom learning process regarding the volume of cube, cuboid, and cylinder geometry. This study employs the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) research and development model. In the analysis phase, the students' need for more interactive learning media was identified. During the design phase, a media prototype was created, integrating interactive elements such as images, materials, videos, and audio. In the development phase, the media was implemented using the Genially platform and validated by material and media experts. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation.
The material expert validation results showed an increase from 71.4% in the first stage to 85.7% in the second stage, while the media expert validation reached 88.4%, indicating that the media is highly valid and feasible. In the implementation phase, the media was tested using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, and students showed high enthusiasm and improved learning outcomes with an average evaluation score of 84.8. The student response questionnaire showed a percentage of 94.9%, and the teacher's response 97,2% was also positive, indicating that the media is suitable and facilitates students' understanding of the material. In the evaluation phase, formative and summative evaluations were conducted, confirming the media's effectiveness in improving student understanding and receiving positive responses from students and teachers. Overall, MathHero Interactive Learning Media proved to be feasible and effective in enhancing the understanding of fourth-grade students in the volume of cube, cuboid, and cylinder geometry. It is recommended that for further research, you can develop media better. It is hoped that this media will be developed using more up-to-date technology and can be utilized and refined in further research.
