DETERMINAN KEPATUHAN MENCUCI TANGAN MAHASISWA NERS DI RUMAH SAKIT STUDI LITERATUR

Background: In health services, maintaining hand hygiene is a very important thing
to do. Skills in getting used to washing hands is an important thing and must be
taught to nursing students, but according to research studies it shows that the hand
washing training taught is not applied to a behavior. The purpose of this study was to
determine the determinants of handwashing compliance among nursing students at
the hospital.
Methods: This study used a literature study by reviewing 5 international and
Indonesian journals related to the determinants of student nurse compliance with
hand washing in hospitals. Data collection was carried out by searching for data
based on articles or journals published through Proquest, Ncbi, Wiley online library,
Pubmed, and Google Scholar. The data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis
and journal assessment with JBI.
Result: It was found that the determinants of hand washing compliance among
nursing students in hospitals were knowledge, role models, gender, awareness of
peak practice and attitude.
Conclusion: There are several factors that must be improved and improved upon in
order to provide effective and safe health services for patients.
